Objectifs
Ce programme permet aux étudiants d’acquérir les compétences techniques et de base, les connaissances et les attitudes nécessaires pour effectuer des tâches d’infirmier auxiliaire tout en donnant la priorité aux besoins du patient. Il vise à former les étudiants à travailler en équipe et à établir des relations d’aide efficaces, en plus de leur apprendre à communiquer efficacement avec tous les membres de l’équipe médicale, les patients et leurs familles. Donner aux étudiants la capacité de répondre efficacement aux problèmes et de s’adapter aux situations difficiles.

Conditions préalables

Pour être admis au programme Santé, assistance et soins infirmiers, les candidats doivent répondre à l’une des exigences suivantes
Les personnes titulaires d’un diplôme d’études secondaires ou d’un équivalent reconnu, par exemple une attestation d’équivalence d’études de 5e secondaire, ou d’un diplôme d’études postsecondaires tel que le diplôme d’études collégiales ou un baccalauréat.

Être âgé d’au moins 16 ans au 30 septembre de l’année scolaire au cours de laquelle débute la formation et avoir obtenu les unités de 5e secondaire en langue d’enseignement et les unités de 4e secondaire en langue seconde et en mathématique dans les programmes d’études établis par le ministre, ou avoir obtenu une reconnaissance d’équivalence d’apprentissage.

Les personnes qui sont âgées d’au moins 18 ans à l’entrée dans le programme et qui possèdent les préalables fonctionnels suivants : la réussite du test de développement général, ainsi que les unités de 5e secondaire en langue d’enseignement dans un programme d’études établi par le ministre, ou la reconnaissance d’un apprentissage équivalent.

Les personnes ayant obtenu les unités de 3e secondaire en langue d’enseignement, en langue seconde et en mathématique dans les programmes d’études établis par le ministre et qui poursuivront leurs cours de formation générale en même temps que leur formation professionnelle afin d’obtenir les unités qui leur manquent parmi les unités de 4e et 5e secondaire en langue d’enseignement et de 4e secondaire en langue seconde et en mathématique dans les programmes d’études établis par le ministre.
